After Ever After: April 2005

i'm back... and i'm starting to sweat like a pig. tsk.

first update since i've reached melbourne... got lots to update everyone about!!

firstly, its been a grave mistake to bring my berms along to the trip, really brave(read stupid) of me to think that i won't freeze out in 15degrees weather... oh well... its kinda like weather that makes you wanna stay in doors and snuggle with somebody over a hot chocolate... -evil grin-

it sucks when everyone's not online, but this stupid cafe's closing in an hour so i can't do much more then blog... oh well...

had a really tiring first day in melb, stoning at the hotel after the really really tiring flight here, and having to wait around 5 hours before getting our room ready for check in... what kinda 4 star hotel is this man... room's view suck too... total unappealing backalley... tsk tsk...

but its pretty amazing that we actually arrived in melb during anzac day, which is this war comemoration thing going on in aus, to honour those who died in the world wars... pretty cool parade went on, with the streets FILLED with people in uniform... it was really an eye opener...

rested the whole afternoon away in the hotel, and we ended up venturing to the crown centre in the night... realised i could get into the casino, which was kinda interesting too.... busted a lil bit on the slots, but all's good, i'm still in clothes and i do still have money left for food for the next few days....

went to victoria market today, and took to roaming the streets of melbourne aimlessly... bought myself a guess shirt!!! haha... clothes here are FARKing expensive i swear.... worse then singapore... but oh well....

haven't been clubbing yet since its the start of the week but well i'll get down to it by tomorrow or something.. haha... can't really update much more i guess, thats about it... shall make another update in another day or two when i'm free... kinda freezing my feet off here in the cafe(i don't know why, but i'm wearing flip flops instead of shoes... tsk tsk)... hope some people will be online the next 2 nites or so at around 8pm(sg time i mean) so that at least i won't get bored when i come online!!

A donkey decided to join a race.
A race meant for horses.
It wonders if the crowd will dislike him,
although they seem fine enough with him as a beast of burden, pet, or companion.
It wonders if the judges will disqualify him,
stating that he is after all, a donkey not a horse.
It wonders if it will win,
running alongside those dazzling stallions.
Although odds are against him,
and common sense tells him otherwise,
it can only do what it does best,
being stubborn, patient, steady, dumb, and well...
affectionate.
After all, you only live once.
