Extreme... Sports?
I was kinda walking home yesterday from the MRT Station when I saw this uncle scrambling across the road, jumping over the fence in the middle, and it struck me as hilarious for some reason. Thus I kinda suddenly thought of some sorta "extreme sports" for the poor and seriously stupid, that we can all participate in, with equipment found in the regular heartland neighbourhood...
Jay-sprinting
Just drop off at the nearest 5 lane road during rush hour with a couple of friends, make a mad dash across to the other side of the road, and see who can perform the feat the most time in a given amount of time. (made more interesting if there's a fence in the middle of the road) Can also be done as a relay for teams.
Bus-Boarding
Secure yourself firmly to a plank of wood as thick as possible (wearing rollerblades work too..) , secure yourself to the back of an SBS bus, and hang on for dear life! Can be made more interesting with road humps, side rails and pesky traffic police..
HDB-Climbing
Singapore has no decent mountains to climb unless you consider Bkt Timah Hill one... And climbing an artificial rock wall gets really old after a while... So why not climb a HDB Block? Rewards include shock faces on old granny's faces to embarrassed young couples!
Oh well, can't believe i just wrote so much crap down... Any one has more ideas?
